What's New with the Calgary PJ Library?

Free books and music to nurture Jewish families.

Reading stories and listening to music with your child are among the most powerful and nurturing early childhood learning experiences. The PJ Library can help you transform these moments into Jewish experiences.

      Sign up for
The PJ Library and you’ll receive a free, high quality children’s book or CD each month that will enrich your Jewish family relationships.

The PJ Library is free: it’s a gift that will nourish a Jewish life from the start.

Research indicates that Jewish experiences in the first five years establish the basis of your child’s Jewish sense of self. Through The PJ Library, parents can create a special time with their children to learn and appreciate their Jewish heritage.

From the Grinspoon family to yours
The mission of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation is to help create vibrant Jewish life in Western Massachusetts and beyond. The PJ Library, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation’s newest initiative, aims to enrich your family’s life with Jewish stories and songs.

      A gift for their future
It’s never too early to create treasured Jewish memories with your family. Sign up your child, and tell your friends, about The PJ Library (children ages 6 months to 8 years who reside in Calgary are eligible to participate). Introduce a new generation to the richness and depth of our Jewish heritage.

          Heartwarming: a PJ Library story
The Calgary Israel Crisis Fund raised thousands of dollars from community members who are standing with Israel during her time of need. But did you know that it was four year old Mirai Hanson who warmed our hearts with the first contribution?  Click here to read more.
