1) Friendly Visitors
Jewish Family Service Calgary seeks volunteers to take part in the Friendly Visitors senior visitation programme. Friendly Visitors spend an hour a week with a senior in our community and provide conversation, Jewish connection, and smiles to seniors who may be isolated or in need of company. 2) Volunteer German Translators
Jewish Family Service Calgary seeks German speakers to translate materials for the Claims Conference on behalf of survivors of the Holocaust. Desired volunteers are fluent and comfortable with the translation of formal government documents from German to English and vice versa. This position is on-going as per arising need.
