The Calgary Jewish Community Council (CJCC) is the umbrella organization that provides leadership to and represents the Calgary Jewish Community. CJCC¹s mission is to ensure and enhance the continuity and vibrancy of the Calgary Jewish Community and the Jewish communities of Canada, Israel, and worldwide.

• Foster community building among individuals and organizations;
• Provide a democratic forum for discussion and determination of issues and policies;
• Provide and support programs and services offered by CJCC and other organizations for the benefit of the Jewish communities it serves
• Raise and distribute funds in furtherance of the aims and objectives of the Jewish communities it serves;
• Advocate on behalf of and speaks for the Calgary Jewish Community;
• Provide a vision for the future through an ongoing, systematic planning process;
• Provide for ongoing and future leadership development; and
• Liaise with other Jewish and non-Jewish communities.
