The goal of Calgary Jewish Federation is to touch the lives of every member of our community and to connect them with each other, and with fellow Jews around the world.

Inspired by the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world; Tzedakah, justice, charity; Klal Israel, the unity of all the Jewish people; and Chesed, loving kindness, we work together to create a vibrant, caring, welcoming and inclusive Jewish community locally, in Israel and around the world.

Thanks to the generosity of donors to our annual fund-raising campaign, United Jewish Appeal, we and our agency partners are able to provide a safety net for our most vulnerable, a lively cultural life, education and camp experiences for our children. We work to strengthen our community for now and for generations to come.

We work with partner agencies to address needs locally, in Israel, and abroad. Together with The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, we advocate for the Jewish community on policy issues and Israel's support. Our main focus is improving the lives of vulnerable Jewish individuals, including the elderly, disabled, and those facing poverty.

Our goal is to ensure Jewish continuity through affiliation, education, and engagement. As part of Jewish Federations of North America, we help protect Jewish well-being worldwide.
