Living a Jewish Life focuses on Jewish Life through the eyes and experiences of two artists. The paintings and paper works by Chana Nell McKereghan and Ella Singer reflect our love of Israel, the Jewish people, and Judaism. Ella’s paintings focus on the theme of Judaism: Then and Now with depictions of Jewish learning, Shabbat observance and references to ancient Israel and Judea. Chana’s paper cuts and mixed media emphasize Jewish practice, ritual, and symbolism. Both artists portray their love of Israel through paintings of Migdal David and Old Yaffa.
