Join us in celebrating Canada’s Jewish community and its role in the history of our nation. The day will include the official opening of the travelling exhibit, The Canadian Jewish Experience, which was developed for the sesquicentennial and opened in Ottawa this spring. Calgarian Sandra Morton Weizman did the research and writing for the exhibit. She will talk about her research and highlight some of the stories told in the exhibit. Exhibit will be on display at the Calgary JCC from June 21-July 6. Also includes a performance by the JCC Klezmer Band and local storytelling.
