You are invited to join us for a special cross-cultural event.  This exhibit which will run from February 11 - 24th at the Chinese Cultural Centre and at the Calgary JCC from Feb. 26 - March 10th is open to the public and free of charge. On loan from the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre, Calgary Jewish Federation and the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre present -Shanghai: A Refuge During the Holocaust. It chronicles the little-known story of the thousands of Jews who sought and found refuge in wartime Shanghai. Based on the oral histories of Shanghai-landers, the exhibit tells their stories through the use of documents and photographs. Shanghai: A Refuge During the Holocaust presents the compelling history of this special sanctuary and of those who survived through resolve, adaptability and resourcefulness.  This exhibit which will run from February 11 - 24th at the Chinese Cultural Centre and at the Calgary JCC from Feb. 26 - March 10th is open to the public and free of charge.
