Chevra Kadisha of Calgary invites the Calgary Jewish Community to the dedication of our new Gan Hazikaron - Garden of Remembrance - and the unveiling of a Memorial Sculpture honouring the memory of those who perished on October 7, 2023 in the greatest single day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, and in the ensuing conflict.

The Garden is a dedicated landscaped area, set apart from gravesites, featuring a sculpture created by Jewish artist Charles Sherman.

The Chevra Kadisha thanks those individuals and families whose generosity has made possible the creation of this park and memorial.
