Caring for the Broken Pieces
Tikkun Olam and The Calgary Alliance for the Common Good
The Calgary Alliance for the Common Good was originally created by Beth Tzedec and other
communities coming together to work together to create a more just and compassionate city.
What does the Jewish understanding of Tikkun Olam, teach us about the work that the Calgary
Alliance for the Common Good was created to do in Calgary? How can the Calgary Alliance for
the Common Good continue to be a vehicle for living out the practice of Tikkun Olam? How do
we have a rich conversation between these traditions that value justice in our common life.
