Digital Photography 101 Course Session 2 of 4: How to Use Your Camera
PLEASE NOTE: A DIGITAL CAMERA IS REQUIRED FOR SESSIONS 2 - 4 OF THIS COURSE.
In Session 2, participants will learn the following:
1. Parts and Functions of their camera. This includes exposure, ISO / F-stop triangle, metering and focus types, bracketing, and going manual (including focus).
2. File Types: RAW vs. JPG files.
3. Histograms: What they are and how to use them to take better pictures plus where to see them on your camera.
4. Hands-on Exercise: You will practice taking pictures at or around the centre and discuss the result with the instructors. You will also understand how you can practice before the next session to explore what you have learned.
