After a highly successful pilot program in 2025, Calgary Jewish Federation is proud to bring the Momentum Program to our community! Applications will open January 17, 2026.

Experience deep connection, lifelong friendships, and meaningful Jewish growth that will transform you, your family, and our community. This year-long program includes monthly gatherings and an eight-day journey to Israel, offering inspiration, learning, and connection every step of the way.

 

Eligibility

• A Jewish mother with at least one child 18 or under.
• Minimum $360 donation made to the 2025 UJA Campaign.
• Able to commit to meet once per month for a full year.
• Able to commit to be in Israel approximately May 10-18, 2026 (with option to extend).

 

Cost

• $360 Acceptance fee.
• $365 Fully refundable deposit.
• Cost of individual round trip flight to Israel.
• Cost of hotel in Israel (minimum one night) outside of Momentum dates.
• 20-30% of meals while in Israel.

The remainder of the cost is funded in partnership by Calgary Jewish Federation and Momentum.
