The Pitch for Israel is a community-wide slo-pitch tournament. The event’s purpose is to unite Calgary’s Jewish community in solidarity with a sociable, fun day incorporating the spirit of promoting Jewish unity and continuity in support of the State of Israel. The Pitch for Israel was originally created in Toronto and held in Calgary for the past two years. Around 200 people attend the event in Calgary with 6+ full teams participating. Through corporate and community support we hope this event has continued to grow each year and be an event that the entire Jewish community looks forward to each summer!
