Yom HaShoah Commemoration – Heartstrings: Music of the Holocaust

6:30pm – Community commemorative service at the Holocaust Memorial Monument at Paperny Family JCC.
7:30pm – Community commemorative programat Beth Tzedec Congregation.

The sufferings of European Jewry under the Nazi regime were reflected in their music and musical life. Music offered Jews a way to express their humanity in inhuman conditions, to escape from reality and give voice to their yearning for freedom, and to find comfort and hope. Please join us for this community wide commemoration.
