It’s JDAIM – Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Month, which gives us the opportunity to celebrate the many talents and contributions that Jewish people with disabilities bring to our communities and our economy. It also gives us all a chance to learn and raise awareness about the unique challenges people with disabilities face within the Jewish community.
Alberta’s government is committed to supporting all Albertans with disabilities by continuing to ensure our province provides the best disability assistance programs in the country. At the end of the day, our shared goal is to make things better for Albertans with disabilities. Read our Empowering Albertans with Disabilities announcement here.
This February, I invite all Albertans to take time to acknowledge the incredible contributions, skills and accomplishments of Jewish people with disabilities.
