PJ Library is a free program that sends high-quality Jewish books and music to children from birth through age 12, fostering a love of Jewish traditions, stories, and culture. Through engaging stories and songs, PJ Library helps families connect with Jewish values and build meaningful Jewish experiences at home. In addition to its book program, PJ Library offers a variety of ongoing events and programs multiple times a month, designed for different age groups. These programs encourage friendship, confidence, and a deeper connection to the Jewish community, providing children and families with opportunities to engage, learn, and grow together.

PJ Our Way®

PJ Our Way offers free, exceptional books with Jewish themes to readers ages 8½ to 12. Every month children choose their own books, tailoring their experience to their own interests and reading level. Sign up now.

PJ Our Way offers registered children in Calgary the gift of exceptional Jewish-themed books. Each month, readers select from four book options, tailored to their interests and reading level. The site features polls, quizzes, interviews, challenges, and a safe, moderated space for posting reviews and commenting. Parents also have access to a blog with book details, discussion questions, and content advisories to help guide their child's reading experience.

PJ Library Tot Shabbat

PJ Library Tot Shabbat meets in-person every other week for parents with pre-schoolers at the Paperny Family JCC. Together with grandparents and relatives near and far, families celebrate the joy of Shabbat and holidays in a free, half-hour program with stories, songs, and brachot (blessings).

Friday mornings at 10am

*We will join the Paperny Family JCC for their Welcome Shabbat at 10:30am.

PJ Library Grandparents

PJ Library Grandparents with grandchildren who are current PJ Library subscribers can sign up to receive special mailings and emails from PJ Library and join in the fun. Sign up now.

For grandparents with grandchildren registered in PJ Library®. Grandparents can now join in the PJ fun! Simply register online and grandparents will receive the gift of two PJ Library® books in the mail as well as many other resources tailored specifically for grandparents. There is no charge for this program but grandparents must have grandchildren enrolled in PJ Library (anywhere in North America) and multiple grandparent households can sign up.
