ShinShinim

The ShinShinim program is a Jewish Agency for Israel initiative, where 18-year-old Israelis defer their IDF military service for one year, to volunteer as ambassadors for Israel in the diaspora.

For 10 months, the ShinShinim immerse themselves in a local community, where they live with families, work in schools, synagogues, camps, and amongst the community. The goal of the program is to build bridges between Israel and global communities, through personal connections.

Beginning in September, we will welcome Adva and Noam to Calgary, where they will connect with our community through our various organizations and families.
